Scrub Control at Barlaston Common, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire
As part of a heathland restoration scheme, BlueSky Environmental Solutions were commissioned by Stafford Borough Council to remove self-set and regenerating trees growing within the heathland areas on Barlaston Common, Staffordshire.
The trees, mainly silver birch, oak and rowan were removed with roots attached by a variety of mechanical means.
Any trees regenerating from previous tree clearance that were too big to dig out were cleared of growth and stumps treated.
